Description
In a two mile stretch there are 4 yellow Safety speed limit signs ranging from 15 mph to the posted speed of 35 mph. You would think that the speed limit would be the "Safety" suggested posted limits posted by Penndot. Police say these are unenforceable. There is a big difference between 15 mph and 35 mph.

The same issue exists on S. Concord Rd, too much cut thru traffic anymore. If you think our current township commissioners of gast, Miller and Travis will do anything, we are going to have to wait until hell freezes over. Only Percy Neal and Bob Anthony understand these issues but are always out voted when it comes to rectifying. And they want to do a traffic study who's purpose is to add additional traffic, I just don't get it but they will when we vote them out, and soon.

I do not understand how our township officals can just rubber stamp and agree to any and all residential development, new high schools, squire cheney tract etc and then turnaround and say nothing can be done about the traffic issues. Thye will not be happy until Thornbury becomes
like Delaware County. Additional tax revenue to stuff their coffers at our expense, then spend it on dump projects is now the political norm. I say enough is enough, Sorry for the rant.

I live in Thornbury Twp and I believe I voted for you for Township Supervisor if you are the same Jim Oliveria. I hope you trully make a difference in our township on issues like these because Mssrs. Gast, Miller and Travis surely have not and their agenda does not represent the majority of the populace other than Cheney Students who only reside on our township for part of the year and are trully transients.
I will be voting for you in the Fall as well, go get em and represent our point of view on traffic e.g. keeping S. Concord Rd. and the Hollows as is etc.
